Equipment, handling and timing start with the details of your load. Defense Forward arranges transportation with third-party carriers for the services below.
Dry Freight
For freight that does not require temperature control. Send the commodity, packaging, pallet or piece count, dimensions and total weight, along with dock or loading restrictions.
Flatbed
For shipments requiring open-deck equipment. Include exact dimensions, weight, loading and unloading methods, and any tarping or securement requirements. Flag oversized dimensions before requesting a quote.
Reefer
For shipments with temperature requirements. Include the commodity, required temperature, operating mode and any written handling instructions. Confirm these requirements with dispatch before pickup.
Auto Transport
For vehicle transportation requests. Include the year, make and model, whether the vehicle runs, any modifications and access restrictions at each location.
